[BUG] Session/chat history missing after Claude Code update

What's Wrong?

What I observed:

I had previously used Claude Code sessions/chats in this workspace, including one where I had a session pinned.
After a Claude update, that history — and all my other Code sessions — are no longer visible.
Checking from within a currently-running session (a scheduled routine tied to a weekly "LinkedIn Challenge" reminder trigger, created Aug 2 2026), a session list query returned only one old, unrelated session (from July 27, a "Dispatch background conversation" via the desktop app / Cowork) — none of my other sessions or chat history appeared.
I have not deleted any sessions myself.

When noticed: 31 Aug 2026

Ask: Please check server-side whether my session data still exists and can be restored/re-linked to my account, and confirm what caused the update to hide/remove it from the session list.
