[Bug] Rendering Error: Backslash-Dot Sequence Stripped in Windows PowerShell

Question

**Bug Description**
In windows + pwsh core (at least) when Claude
would output the string `\.` both characters dissapear from the output.                                                                                                 
so `C:\users\someUser\.config` becomes `C:\users\someUserconfig`
