What Should Happen?
A sample or template prompt should never be submitted as a user turn without an explicit user action. At minimum it should be pre-filled in the composer and require review and confirmation before running — the way the web app handles prompts, and the way claude:// prompts behave after the PromptFiction fix.
Error Messages/Logs
Steps to Reproduce
I cannot reproduce this on demand. It happened three times without any input from me. What I can provide is exact timing and session IDs so the trigger can be traced server-side.
Observed sequence:
Claude for Mac open, Cowork tab. Google Calendar and Google Drive connected, Gmail not connected. No scheduled tasks configured (Scheduled page empty). Dispatch not used.
Without any typing, clicking, or keyboard input from me, an English sample prompt appears as a submitted user turn.
Claude immediately starts an agentic run — reads memory, creates a task list, calls connectors, runs skills, writes and renders files.
