Bug Description
I'm unable to access "Plan" mode since the latest upgrade. How do I get back to it?

Do you have a screenshot of what you see when you cannot access plan mode? Did Shift-Tab stop working for you? I have been unable to repro in ubuntu gnome-terminal.

seems to be no way to access plan mode
The plan mode shortcut is Shift+Tab twice (the first Shift+Tab brings you into auco-accept mode), not Tab. Is Shift not working properly within your setup?
Ah! I see... that does indeed work. I don't know what happened on my side, thanks for clarifying. (the "shift + tab to auto-accept edits" is confusing here, though it does cycle through auto-accept to plan etc). I'll close,
