[Feature Request] Improve session persistence and context retention between invocations

Bug Description
I've been dealing with several new bugs and regressions in the last few sessions. I've not encountered constant regression for quite a while. Lately, though I have no idea why, it feels a little like two steps forward and one back, and it's costing me a lot of time and tokens. I have been very liberal with allowing Claude code to detect and squash bugs, which I realize will inevitably come along; I'm thankful it is able to do that, for certain. But the complexity of the repetition with saving progress and documenting things simply to help CC not to forget where we were between sessions, has become a tedious task, leaving less time for creativity; one that could be woven into Claude's precepts I think. No doubt it would be a better UX. Not certain what to expect from Sonnet at this point, but it's all I can afford. I am thankful for being able to utilize it as a tool regardless of the near endless uncertainty, and don't know what I would do without it; that's the pickle. Sorry I haven't been more specific, but this felt like a broader encasement for the experience I've been having the last week or so.
