[BUG] MoAppHang error when i update Claude desktop on Windows 10

What's Wrong?

Since July 19, 2026, whenever I update the Claude app for Windows Desktop (10), I get the following error:

The app then works, but the error is reported in the Maintenance section of the Windows Control Panel.

What Should Happen?

There shouldn't be any “MoAppHang” errors.
