[Feature Request] Workflows should support resuming agent sessions for multi-turn interactions

Bug Description
I'm surprised that workflows don't support resuming agent sessions. It limits the workflows to one-shot agents which is even less flexible than skills with subagents. If I want nested subagents with cached and resumed sessions on some levels, the only option seems to be the Agents SDK which quickly raises the complexity.
