What's Wrong?
The agent fail to invoke any tool call for reading and editting, while it still insisted that it has made a tool call. It seens somewhere is blocked.

Thanks for the report. I tried to reproduce this on the current release (2.1.233): in a folder with an
index.html, runningclaude -p "help me understand this html"made a real Read tool call and answered from the file's contents, so tool calls are working there.When the model says it read or edited a file but nothing actually happened, it's usually the API path rather than the CLI: a proxy/gateway/relay in front of the API (or a non-default model) that drops or doesn't stream tool-call blocks. Your report lists Platform as "Other", so that seems worth ruling out.
To dig further, could you share:

I updated the plugin and vscode and these problems seen to be solved. This bug hasn t shown sgain. I think it might be already ok
