What's Wrong?

Account: tabata@tbt-ai.com
Plan: Claude Pro ($19/month)

Issue Summary:
During the period when auto-charge was enabled, I was charged approximately $860+ across multiple transactions:

  • April 1, 2026: $200
  • April 2, 2026: $5.50
  • April 20, 2026: $49.50
  • May 9, 2026: $49.50
  • May 27, 2026: $16.50
  • June 18, 2026: $49.50 + $220
  • June 19, 2026: $220
  • July 6, 2026: $49.50

Current Status:

  • Current credit balance: $264.07
  • Usage this month: $41.45 only
  • Unaccounted credit: ~$600

Problem:
The dashboard does not show a detailed breakdown of what the majority of this credit was used for. The only usage shown is $41.45 for the current billing period, but I cannot identify what consumed the remaining $600+.

Expected:
I need Anthropic to:

  1. Provide detailed credit usage history
  2. Explain what the $600+ was charged for
  3. Process a refund for any erroneous charges

This appears to be related to the known billing system bugs acknowledged by Anthropic (GitHub issues #48780, #45497, etc.)

What Should Happen?

Turn off auto-charge billing immediately to prevent further unauthorized charges. Investigate the $600+ discrepancy and issue a refund.

Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable auto-charge on Claude Pro account
  2. Use Claude.ai services normally
  3. Check the billing page to see credit purchases
  4. Check the usage page to see credit consumption
  5. Notice that $600+ in credits cannot be accounted for
  6. Dashboard does not show detailed breakdown of usage

Expected result:
Detailed credit usage history should be visible, showing what services consumed the credits

Actual result:
Only $41.45 usage shown for $264.07 balance. Majority of credit consumption is unexplained.
