Let the session keep working while an AskUserQuestion is pending

AskUserQuestion freezes the whole session until I answer. Most of my answers just confirm the recommended option, and any time Claude spends waiting on me is wasted time.

The question UI itself is right and should stay exactly as it is, intrusive and front and center. What I want is for the session to keep working in the background as much as it can while the question sits there, with my answers landing as feedback the same way queued messages already do, so they accumulate while it works.

How far it runs ahead should be up to the user. Something like: assume the recommended answer and work toward it, correcting once the real answer lands. Or be careful and stop at the next point where the answer matters. Or stop immediately, which is what happens today. This could even be a natural language prompt telling it when to do which.
