[Bug] Claude Code Fails to Handle Task Interruption Correctly

Question

**Bug Description**
Claude doesn't seem to be aware of being interrupted (pressing escape).

How to repeat: Write some code or perform some tasks, interrupt those tasks, then ask it to continue. If you reject an edit but then decide to continue anyway, it will continue as if that edit or command had been run.

Expected behavior: 
It would do the same edit again or run the command that was cancelled
