Unexpected Task Interruption During Code Generation Workflow
Resolved 💬 17 comments Opened Jul 17, 2025 by cjw296 Closed Jul 17, 2025
Bug Description
Out of the blue, claude code has just started halting in the middle of tasks - it'll do some step, and then just do nothing, but will accept another prompt and then hang in the same way.
I tried restarting with a --resume, but just got the same thing. I guess I'll need to just try a new session?

Same here, apparently we all started having issues in the last couple of hours because of an update they just pushed...
:sand-panda: - @ArturoTorresMartinez - where did you see this? Server side or client side push? (guessing server side given that I haven't seen any client-side updates come through...)
Same issue here, best of luck everyone.
I just paid more than 300 CAD to buy the max plan today. It was interrupted after just a few hours of use. Maybe it was because of me that caused the downtime. I'm sorry, everyone. I'm going to sleep first. I wish you all good luck, and God bless you all
Having the same issue, just started in the past hour

@cjw296 Oh yeah probably server side, I haven't seen an update besides v1.0.51 for a while.
But looking at the sudden flow of issues opened something happened recently
