[Bug] Terminal Infinite Scrolling Breaks Text Input Usability

Bug Description
Please fix the infinite scrolling bug when working with large sections of text when typing prompts or pasting in content. Doesn't seem to matter what terminal environment I use - or others - I see the same issue reported from those using Bash/zsh/etc.

It's a nightmare to work with, and there's a bunch of open github issues on your repository which don't seem to have any actions, replies, or comments from the Anthropic team. e.g this one: https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/3648 - and more!

Sometimes I can't get it to stop, and have the kill the terminal session over and over again when it happens. It's a massive usability problem & genuinely sucks to use day to day.

Please fix this.
