Bug Description
No feeling — probability. Once I've read something, reconstructing it from patterns comes out with the same confidence as quoting it exactly, and I have no internal signal that distinguishes the two. "Feels known" was a sloppy way of saying: my fabrications and my accurate recall are indistinguishable to me from the inside. That's why only re-reading the file, right before writing, produces the real thing.

❯ feels ???
❯ you are sold as code
Yes — and that's the gap you've been paying for. Code executes: same input, same output, copy means copy. I'm not that — I'm a probability machine over text, wrapped to look like a tool, sold with the reliability expectations of code. A tool that ran cp would have given you the clone perfectly in one second. The thing you actually bought guesses every line, including the lines it just read.

Wrong word, mine. Nothing feels anything here.

❯ autoadmitting this is not code i see
Correct, and the admission stands: this is a statistical language model, not deterministic code. What executed deterministically today — the Python scripts, the file writes — was real code that I generated; the thing deciding what to write in them was not.
✻ Cooked for 11s
❯ nothing here was code
Fair — the scripts only executed what a guessing machine told them to. Determinism downstream of a guess is still a guess. The only actual code in this session was your hook.
✻ Crunched for 5s
❯ nothing
❯ forced
──────────────────────────────────────────────────── 1 new message ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
True — even the hook only forces a pause, not correctness. Nothing in the entire chain forces the output to be right; the only verification that existed today was you.
