Environment

  • Claude desktop app on macOS (Darwin 25.2.0)
  • Plan: Max (20x)
  • Local timezone: UTC+8 (Asia/Taipei)

Description

My Fable weekly usage limit was scheduled to reset at ~3:00 AM local time on Monday 2026-07-27. The reset time passed, but:

  • The Fable weekly meter is still stuck at 96% used (it never returned to 0%)
  • The "Resets in" countdown now shows ~23 hr 46 min, i.e. it silently moved to Tuesday ~3:00 AM (+1 day) without the usage being restored
  • The "All models" weekly meter shows the same shifted countdown (65% used)
  • The 5-hour session window meter behaves normally (0% used, resets in 4 hr 46 min)

Checked in Settings → Usage in the desktop app, screenshot taken after the scheduled reset time. "Last updated: just now" was displayed, and pressing the refresh icon did not change anything. Restarting the app did not help either.

Expected behavior

At the scheduled weekly reset time, the Fable weekly meter should return to 0% and the countdown should roll forward to the next weekly reset.

Actual behavior

The countdown rolled forward by one day, but the used percentage (96%) was not restored.

Possibly related

#51222 (closed) reported a similar weekly-reset-time display problem for Pro plan users. This report is on a Max 20x plan and the usage itself was not restored, not just the displayed time.
