[BUG] Claude Desktop jumps me back halfway through chat history when I try to get to the bottom

What's Wrong?

I have a long chat with Claude for some automation that uses edit fields that show up in the response, where I can edit some text and then hit submit.

What's happening now is if I try to go to the bottom of the chat history, Claude Desktop immediately throws me back somewhere halfway through the chat history instead. I can see the UI loading these edit fields at that point, and the cursor and the scroll bar are jumping around. I can even click the down arrow to get to the bottom, and it immediately throws me back up.

The more I've chatted with Claude, and the more times it output these edit fields, the buggier this experience became.

I recorded a screencast, but since it has some private information, I can share it privately with Anthropic if needed.

What Should Happen?

Claude Desktop lets me scroll to the bottom of a chat, without any jumping around.

Steps to Reproduce

I'm not really sure what exactly causes this bug, but I suspect it has to do with edit fields like these being present in Claude's responses, and a lot of them over time:

As I scroll up and down the chat history, I can observe text turning into these edit fields right in front of my eyes, which probably affects focus and various positioning in logic.
