What's Wrong?

I’m unable to use the Gmail connector in Claude because it consistently fails with:

caller does not have permission

I have already tried the usual recovery steps, including:

Revoking the Google account access

Reconnecting the account

Starting fresh OAuth flows

Using new sessions after reconnecting

None of these steps resolved the issue. The connector still fails with the same permission error.

What Should Happen?

I have already tried the usual recovery steps, including:

Revoking the Google account access

Reconnecting the account

Starting fresh OAuth flows

Using new sessions after reconnecting

None of these steps resolved the issue. The connector still fails with the same permission error.

Error Messages/Logs

Claude should be able to access Gmail after a successful OAuth authorization and connector reconnect.

Steps to Reproduce

I have already tried the usual recovery steps, including:

Revoking the Google account access

Reconnecting the account

Starting fresh OAuth flows

Using new sessions after reconnecting

None of these steps resolved the issue. The connector still fails with the same permission error.
