[BUG] Using Kitty and opening the agent panel, text input is not accepted properly.

What's Wrong?

OS: macOS Tahoe 26.5
Machine: M5 Max 36 GiB

When using Kitty, there is an issue where text input is not accepted after entering an agent-specific TUI and then exiting it. This may occur in Terminal and Ghotty when using GPU-rendered TUIs.

What Should Happen?

It cannot accept text input, leaving you with no choice but to force-quit using CTRL+C. Also, when you enter the agent screen, it gets stuck in a loop displaying "Thinking..."

Steps to Reproduce

Enter the sub-agent screen.
Then exit.
The main agent can no longer respond.
(The process appears to still be running.)
