[BUG] Cowork/Code tabs missing on Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (Build 26200.8655) — yukonSilver likely unsupported, no logs generated

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

The Cowork and Code tabs do not appear in Claude Desktop. Only the "Chat" tab is visible in the top navigation.

What Should Happen?

The Cowork and Code tabs should appear alongside Chat in the top navigation of Claude Desktop, since the account is on a paid plan and the system meets all virtualization requirements.

Error Messages/Logs

No log file found at %APPDATA%\Claude\logs\cowork_vm_node.log — the file does not exist.
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp\Claude folder exists but subdirectories are empty.
No "CoworkVMService" found in services.msc.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install/open Claude Desktop on Windows 11 Pro (25H2, build 26200.8655)
  2. Confirm Windows features enabled: Virtual Machine Platform, Hyper-V, Windows Hypervisor Platform
  3. Restart the machine
  4. Open Claude Desktop
  5. Observe only "Chat" tab appears — no "Cowork" or "Code" tabs

Additional Information

CPU: Intel Core i5-1135G7, virtualization enabled and confirmed in Task Manager.
No third-party hypervisor installed (no VirtualBox/VMware/WSL2).
This appears to match GitHub issues #75321 and #73484 (yukonSilver platform detection marking the system as unsupported despite fully enabled virtualization).
