[BUG] Changing system time bugs chat history

What's Wrong?

if I change my system clock while working with claude code in claude desktop I end up losing my chat history in the UI chat even though the chats jsonl files still contain everything to get it to display again I had to correct the timestamps to the correct date and my history was showing correctly again.

What Should Happen?

Ideally changing system time should not change how your chat displays

Steps to Reproduce

-Open Claude desktop

• Do work in Claude code
• Change system time to a prior date
• continue working
• restart Claude desktop and the work done after the time change will not be displayed correctly
