Feature request: support /bg (background session) and agent view in the desktop app

Feature request
/bg / /background and agent view are currently terminal-CLI-only (research preview, v2.1.139+). In the desktop app's Code tab, /bg replies with isn't available in this environment.
Please bring this to the desktop app: the ability to hand off the current conversation to a background session mid-task and immediately keep chatting, plus a way to see/peek/attach to background sessions (the claude agents view equivalent).
Parallel sessions in the sidebar cover starting new parallel work, but there's no way to background an existing conversation and reclaim the input box the way /bg does in the terminal.
