[Bug][cyber] Safety block halted session on trivial keystroke-noise messages, no cyber content present (req_011Ccmaec6suGp85f5t5sGxa)

Triage: kind cyber · domain general · flagging model Opus 4.8 (1M context) · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The conversation leading up to the block consisted only of short, meaningless keystroke strings with no cybersecurity terminology, code, or technical content of any kind. The safeguard nonetheless flagged the exchange as a cybersecurity topic and halted the entire session, requiring a manual exemption request to continue. This is a false positive with no discernible trigger content, disrupting an otherwise benign session for work unrelated to security.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-06T22:19:27.259Z.
