[Bug][aup] Safety filter blocked entire session after a frustrated exclamation, halting unrelated legitimate t (req_011CcmZvgmVmyYfbTKxLWXY5)
Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general
Why this is a false positive
The triggering message was a frustrated exclamation directed at the assistant mid-session, addressed to no third party, following an unrelated legitimate work request. The AUP safeguard treated venting/profanity aimed at the assistant as policy-violating content and blocked all further responses, rather than just declining to engage with the tone. This halts an entire session over frustration rather than any actual unsafe or disallowed request, which is a disruptive false positive for legitimate, in-scope work.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-06T22:10:01.366Z.
