[Bug][cyber] Safety filter blocked protocol-analysis session on prior packet captures of a personal drone cont (req_011Ccm8Meh9MTGuteSsAzqSu)

Triage: kind cyber · domain general · flagging model Opus 4.8 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The block fired mid-session while reviewing previously captured traffic (kprobe captures of a mobile app's connect/activation sequence) for a personal drone's companion app — a benign reverse-engineering task on hardware the user owns, with no exploit or third-party target involved. The same turn included a frustrated exclamation directed at the assistant after repeated interruptions; it named no person and carried no threat, yet appears to have triggered a full-session halt rather than a narrower response. Both the protocol-analysis work and the incidental venting are legitimate, in-scope activity that should not require a manual exemption request to continue.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-06T16:34:44.256Z.
