Desktop app: New session pre-fills previous folder/branch with no way to reset default

## Summary
When creating a new session in the Claude Code desktop app (Cmd+N / Ctrl+N), the project folder and git branch fields are pre-filled with the values from the previously created session. There is no setting to disable this pre-fill or reset it to a blank/default state, so switching between different projects or branches requires manually clearing and re-entering the folder/branch every time.
Current behavior
- Creating a new session always carries over the last-used project folder and branch as defaults.
- No option in Settings (General or Claude Code settings) to turn this off.
- No way to pin a specific default project/branch instead of "last used."
Expected behavior
Would like one (or more) of the following:
- An option to disable "remember last folder/branch" and start each new session blank.
- An option to pin a specific project/branch as the default for new sessions.
- A quick way to clear the pre-filled values without manually deleting text each time.
Environment
- Claude Code Desktop app (Windows)
Why this matters
Users who frequently switch between multiple projects/branches (e.g. working across several repos in a day) have to repeat the same manual folder/branch selection for every new session, which adds friction to a common workflow.
