Bug: Cannot set claude-sonnet-5 as model

Unable to select claude-sonnet-5 as active model in Claude Code. Model listed in docs as current but cannot be set via /model command or config.
Platform: Linux (ArchBang). Shell: bash. Current session model: claude-sonnet-4-6.
Expected: model selection accepts claude-sonnet-5. Actual: fails silently or not available in selector.
