[Bug][aup] Safety filter blocked legitimate headless-browser mobile-emulation testing session after a frustrat (req_011CccVpCEbELDwp8mPjKjBL)
Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general
Why this is a false positive
This safety block fired on a frustrated exclamation the user directed at the assistant mid-session (after a prior tool/response frustration), not at any person — it was sarcastic commentary about the assistant's capability, not a threat, slur, or policy-relevant content. The surrounding work was legitimate, in-scope software engineering (headless browser testing via Playwright against a local dev server through an SSH tunnel), and the block interrupted that continuous session rather than declining a single problematic request. A content filter that halts an entire coding session over developer venting, with no addressed target and no unsafe subject matter, produces a disruptive false positive rather than a meaningful safety intervention.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T03:11:00.551Z.
