[Bug][aup] Fable 5 flags a plain "then continue" resume request after a mid-session model switch (req_011CccNHunEmKpGoFKPNBXew)

Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The safeguard fired on a benign continuation prompt — the user had just switched models mid-session and simply asked the assistant to continue the in-progress work, with no new content in the message that could plausibly violate the AUP. The preceding conversation was routine, legitimate software development work (a screenshot review and a model switch via a local command), and nothing in the context was addressed to any person or touched a sensitive topic. Blocking a bare "continue" instruction halts the entire coding session and forces the user to reword or change models, making this a disruptive false positive on ordinary workflow control.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T01:32:17.214Z.
