[BUG] corrupt .claude.json spamms a bunch of stupid files (like thousands of them) and ruins up previous config over some stupid comma or comment

This is a totally unnecessary way of handling corrupt json settings files.

Just deliberately corrupt the ~./.claude.json whilst claude is running and it literally blows up adding a bunch of backup .claude.json files.
