Triage: kind cyber · domain general · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

This block fired during routine debugging of a video-capture and decoding pipeline, where the work consisted of capturing a byte stream produced by the application, running it through a known-good frame extractor, and decoding the result to confirm the output was a correct full-color, full-frame image. This is ordinary media-format and codec troubleshooting on the developer's own software, with no offensive security objective, target system, or sensitive technique involved. The cybersecurity safeguard appears to have keyed on generic terms like "capture," "stream," and "extraction," misclassifying a benign in-scope engineering task.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-06-29T19:59:47.857Z.
