Closing for now — inactive for too long. Please open a new issue if this is still relevant.
Since
/forknow copies the conversation into its own background session, closing a fork is done from agent view (claude agents, or press←in a session): select the forked session and pressCtrl+Xto stop it, andCtrl+Xagain within two seconds to delete it. From the shell,claude stop <id>/claude rm <id>do the same, and/stopends a session from inside it.Details: https://code.claude.com/docs/en/agent-view
