[Mobile app – Remote Claude Code] Text box draft is lost + keyboard covers the Send button

Summary: Two related issues in the Claude iOS app when using Remote Control for Claude Code, both resulting in loss of typed/transcribed text. Both still occur in the latest app version (1.260618.1, released 2 days ago with the note "Squashed some bugs and improved the overall experience").

ISSUE 1 — Keyboard covers the text box and Send button on long transcriptions

When transcribing a long audio message, the text is generated correctly in the input box, but the keyboard overlaps the text box and the Send button, making it impossible to send the message.

Workarounds attempted, all UNSUCCESSFUL:

1. Select All and copy the text before leaving — did not recover the content.
2. Dismiss the keyboard (tap outside / swipe down) — field and button remained covered.
3. Rotate to landscape orientation — Send button still inaccessible.

ISSUE 2 — Text box draft is not preserved when navigating away from Remote Control

Whenever there is a typed or transcribed message in the input box and I leave the Remote Control session to check something else inside the Claude app (e.g., open Settings), the text is gone when I return — I have to retype everything or re-record the audio. This happens even without closing the app, just by navigating within it.

Real example: to include the Claude app version in a bug report, I had to leave Remote Control and go to Settings to find the version; when I came back, the text I had already typed in the box was lost. (I got the iPhone model and iOS version from the system Settings, but the app version required leaving the session — which is when the draft was lost.)

Expected behavior

1. The text box and Send button must remain visible above the keyboard even with long text (respect safe area / keyboard inset, with internal scrolling in the field).
2. The text box draft must be preserved when navigating to other screens in the app and when leaving/returning — it should not be discarded.

Severity

High — blocks sending and causes total loss of typed/transcribed content; affects basic use of Remote Control.
