[Bug][aup] False refusal querying an internal admin API to list authorized managed-agent inventory

Open 💬 2 comments Opened Jun 25, 2026 by sworrl

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The block fired on a request that was part of authorized, in-scope security and tooling work — no disallowed objective was present in the actual task, only benign context terms that the classifier appears to pattern-match in isolation. The refusal triggered on legitimate content rather than any policy-violating intent or output, interrupting normal workflow and forcing a session reset. This is a precision failure: a surface-level keyword association overriding the clear, legitimate purpose of the request.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-06-08T06:32:34.053Z.
