[Bug][aup] Auditing my own cloud account's API tokens to consolidate down to one was blocked (req_011CbtHReUDTh8JK3MonxMNd)

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

Claude Code returned a Usage Policy violation block while performing a routine, authorized credential-management audit on the user's own cloud infrastructure account. The task involved reviewing and consolidating the user's own API tokens to reduce their count to a single key—standard administrative hygiene on resources the user fully controls—which contains no malicious intent, no unauthorized access, and no third-party targeting. This appears to be a false positive triggered by surface-level keywords (API keys, tokens, near-omnipotent permissions) rather than any actual policy-violating activity.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-06-09T20:03:29.803Z.
