[Bug] Compact Mode Breaks Context Persistence and Generates Uncontrollable TODO Lists

Bug Description
after compact it literally cannot recollect what it was last working on and starts doing a todo list and wont stop despite being told to stop. this IS A GIGANTIC BUG. MOREOVER THIS BUG DIDNT EXIST BEFORE.
