[BUG] Claude Code in Claude Desktop ignores instructions and claims not to have received anything

What's Wrong?

Any sort of instruction longer than "hello" or "did you see my last command" is simply ignored.

If I give it a set if simple instructions, nothing happens, I ask it why it hasn't responded and it simply says "Nothing came through before that message". If I save the request in a text file and attach it to the conversation, it generally works fine.

What Should Happen?

It should see my commands and act accordingly.

Error Messages/Logs

Nothing. I don't even see a timer counting up, absolutely nothing happens.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Desktop and click Code
2. Enter a command
3. Wait for nothing to happen
