Bug Description

Claude Code has been completely non-functional on my Windows 11 machine for several weeks. After submitting a request, a countdown runs for a few seconds, then nothing happens — no response, no error message, just silence.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch Claude Code on Windows 11
2. Submit any prompt
3. Watch the seconds count down
4. Observe: the process hangs indefinitely with no output and no error

Expected Behavior

Claude Code processes the request and returns a response.

Actual Behavior

The session freezes silently after a few seconds. No error message is displayed.

What I've Already Tried

• Multiple full reinstallations of Claude Code
• Manual deletion of all related directories between reinstalls
• Still broken after every attempt

Additional Context

• The /feedback command inside Claude Code also fails with the message "Unable to send feedback"
• Claude.ai chat and Cowork both work fine on the same machine, suggesting the issue is specific to Claude Code and not my network or Anthropic account
