[BUG] The contextual menu closes automatically
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
When the left sidebar is hidden/collapsed, opening the context menu via the hamburger button (☰) and hovering over Cowork or Code causes the menu to close automatically before the user can click.
The issue does not occur when the left sidebar is pinned/visible — in that state, Cowork and Code are accessible normally.
What Should Happen?
Expected Behavior
Hovering over Cowork or Code in the context menu should keep the menu open and allow the user to click and navigate to that mode.
Actual Behavior
The menu closes automatically when hovering over Cowork or Code buttons, making them inaccessible unless the left sidebar is pinned.
Workaround
Keep the left sidebar pinned/visible — in this state, Cowork and Code are accessible without issue.
