[BUG] Hamburger menu closes before tab selection in Claude Desktop

What Should Happen?

What's Wrong?
In the Claude Desktop app, switching between Chat / Cowork / Code tabs via the hamburger menu (top-left) is broken. When I open the menu and try to select a different mode, the menu closes before I can make a selection.

Additionally, the Enter key behavior changed unexpectedly — it now inserts a newline instead of sending the message.

Expected Behavior

• Clicking the hamburger menu should keep it open long enough to select a tab (Chat / Cowork / Code)
• Enter key should send the message (Shift+Enter for newline)

Actual Behavior

• The menu closes immediately before a tab can be selected
• Enter key inserts a newline instead of sending

Workaround Found

• Keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+1 / Ctrl+2 / Ctrl+3) work as a workaround for tab switching

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Desktop app
2. Navigate to Cowork tab
3. Click the hamburger menu (top-left)
4. Attempt to select "Chat" or "Code"
5. Observe that the menu closes before selection is possible

Environment

• App version: unknown
• OS: Windows
• Reinstalled latest version — issue persists
