[BUG] Hot mic after closing flip phone
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Users with flip phones like the Galaxy flip series, should be able to close their phone to stop conversations with Claude. Closing the phone is generally considered hanging up a voice call. And should be considered a hang up when talking to AI.
The bug can result in embarrassing situations where their phone is idle for quite some time until the person starts to engage in conversation with people, then Claude starts speaking out of the users pocket.
What Should Happen?
The expected behavior is when the user closes their flip phone Claude should pause and resume only when the phone is open back up.
