Feature request: show concrete progress (steps/percentage) instead of vague spinner text like 'almost done...'

Feature request

The working spinner shows elapsed time plus vague phrases such as "almost done..." ("もうすぐ完了…" in the Japanese UI).

As a user I would prefer concrete, quantitative progress instead of abstract wording, e.g.:

  • A 0-100% style indicator where feasible (e.g. based on todo/plan items completed: "3/5 steps")
  • Or at least factual status ("running tests", "editing file 2 of 4") rather than mood phrases like "almost done"

Reason: phrases like "almost done" set expectations that often don't match reality, and give no actionable information. Even a rough step counter (derived from the todo list / plan) would be far more useful.

Environment: Claude Code desktop app on Windows 11, Japanese locale.
