[BUG] Re-Authorising Claude.

What's Wrong?
First can someone explain if I pay monthly why does my vs code have to re-authorise my account.
Claude is an AI so it's perfectly capable of telling me that my subscription requires renewing. rather than kicking me out of the chat for ne to go do what it seems incapable of.
Secondly if the AI require re-Authorising first then change what the winodw looks like in VSCode. Why keep it looking like it's open for input when it's not.
Third after typing a full definition of what I want Claude to do (1/2 a page of text) and then pressing return. It is only then that the program decides it needs to re-authorise and the discards entirely all the text I entered.
In just about 1 month it has done this 3 times to me.
This is more than annoying
What Should Happen?
Either
I shouldn't have to re-authorise anything,
or
It should be crystal clear that the system requires my action before Claude is available
or
It remembers what I typed in and then responds after re-authorising
