What's Wrong?

My Claude Max 5x subscription (€90.00/month) is confirmed active in Anthropic's backend system, but:

1.My account interface on claude.ai incorrectly displays as Free Plan
2.Claude Code shows a message requiring a Pro or Max plan despite having an active Max subscription

What Should Happen?

My account interface on claude.ai should display Claude Max 5x as the active plan, and Claude Code should recognize the subscription and grant full access without prompting to upgrade.

Error Messages/Logs

None.
There are no error messages — the issue is related to account/subscription state.

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Purchase a Claude gift card and send it to a recipient
  2. Recipient redeems the gift card on claude.ai
  3. Invoice in Settings > Billing shows as "Paid"
  4. Account interface still displays "Free Plan" — subscription not reflected
  5. Open Claude Code — prompted with "requires Pro or Max plan" despite active Max subscription
