New Session button is not working on Mac Air M4 Tahoe

What's Wrong?

Desktop app version: 1.11187.4
Operating system: macOS 15.5
Hardware: Mac Air M4
Issue: "+ New Session" button and Cmd+N keyboard shortcut both unresponsive
Steps already tried: restart, sign out/in, reset app data, fresh reinstall, disabled third-party apps

What Should Happen?

Claude create more session windows for the users to work on different work in Claude Code.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch Claude desktop app
2. Go to Claude Code
3. Click + New Session button
4. there is no new session and it remains under the same folder/ previous project folder.
