[BUG] Claude desktop Windows ARM Version 1.11187.4 (584005) Broke PDF Reading

What's Wrong?

my project deals with scanned pdf documents. since updating to Version 1.11187.4 (584005), Claude can no longer read these documents.
Platform: Windows ARM64 (Parallels on M3)
What broke: PDF vision reading — Read tool returns only metadata, no page content
When: started after latest version update

What Should Happen?

Claude should be able to read scanned pdf documents without issue.

Error Messages/Logs

Claude says I cannot read scanned PDFs. Install Tesseract.
