Can claude code use Vertex AI gemini models?
Trying to use vertex AI’s gemini-pro-2.5 with claude code and I’m seeing a 400 error from GCP: “Gemini cannot be accessed through Vertex Predict/RawPredict API.”
- Is this a claude code implementation limitation?
- Does claude code only play nicely with the claude models on GCP vertex AI (although not explicitly stated in the docs)?
