Cmd+V shows 'no image found in clipboard' when clipboard contains text

When pressing Cmd+V in the chat input field, Claude Code shows 'no image found in clipboard' and does not fall back to pasting text. Other terminals (hermes, codex, kimi) paste text fine. The paste handler appears to only check for images and never falls back to text content.
