[Bug] Chat fails to execute simple git command, incorrectly reported as completed

Bug Description
I would usually send ! git pull, but I accidentally sent git pull (as a regular chat). Surely Claude should then just do it. It responded "Got it — you're all synced up.", but didn't actually do anything :(
