[BUG] Dispatch tasks execute on desktop but results are not reported back to Dispatch chat

What's Wrong?

After a recent update to Claude Mac app build 1.1.9310 (cb30ac), Dispatch stopped working correctly. Messages sync between the phone and Mac — I can see them on both devices — but dispatched tasks execute on the desktop without reporting results back to the Dispatch conversation thread.

The task appears to run (I can see activity on the desktop side), but the Dispatch chat on both phone and Mac never receives the completed result. The conversation just stays without any response.

This was working before the update to build 1.1.9310.

What Should Happen?

When a task is dispatched from the phone (or desktop Dispatch chat), the task should execute on the desktop and the results should be reported back to the Dispatch conversation thread on both devices, as it worked prior to build 1.1.9310.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Set up Dispatch by pairing Claude Desktop (Mac) with the Claude mobile app (iPhone)
2. Verify messages sync between phone and Mac (they do — messages appear on both devices)
3. Send a task from the phone via Dispatch (e.g., "Summarize my recent emails" or any task)
4. Observe that the task appears to execute on the desktop (activity is visible in the Cowork session)
5. Notice that the result is never reported back to the Dispatch conversation thread on either device
6. The Dispatch chat remains without a response indefinitely

• Claude Desktop build: 1.1.9310 (cb30ac)

• Dispatch was working correctly before this build update

Behavior:

• Messages sync correctly between phone and Mac (bidirectional)
• Tasks dispatched from phone are received and appear to execute on the desktop
• The spawned Cowork session runs the task, but the result never gets relayed back to the Dispatch conversation thread
• Both devices show the Dispatch chat stuck without a response
