Description
Mouse wheel scrolling stopped working in the Claude Code panel in PyCharm. It was working previously with no changes made by the user. Page Up/Down keys work as a workaround. There is no visible scrollbar in the panel. Mouse scroll works normally in all other PyCharm panels (e.g. file viewer).
Steps to Reproduce
- Open PyCharm with Claude Code plugin installed
- Open the Claude Code panel
- Generate a response long enough to require scrolling
- Attempt to scroll with the mouse wheel
Expected Behavior
Mouse wheel scrolls the Claude Code panel output.
Actual Behavior
Mouse wheel does nothing. No scrollbar is visible. Page Up/Down works.
Environment
- OS: Linux (kernel 6.8.0-124-generic, Ubuntu)
- PyCharm version: Build #PY-252.25557.178, built on September 2, 2025
- Claude Code plugin version: 0.1.14-beta
Additional Notes
- Rebooting did not fix the issue
- Clicking inside the panel to ensure focus does not help
- Plugin is up to date (no updates available)
- Issue appeared suddenly without any user-side changes
